“EARS TO HEAR!”

 Mark 4:23-25                    (ESV)

“[23] IF ANYONE HAS “EARS TO HEAR”, LET HIM HEAR.” [24] And HE (JESUS) said to them, “PAY ATTENTION to what you hear: with the measure you use, it will be measured to you, and still more will be added to you. [25] For to the one who has, more will be given, and from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away.””

In the verses above, JESUS (THE CREATOR of ALL according to Colossians 1:16) is speaking to we who have “EARS TO HEAR”!  But JESUS begins HIS Message by saying IF ANYONE HAS “EARS TO HEAR”, indicating there are people who do not have the ability to HEAR from our CREATOR.  ONLY people who have “EARS TO HEAR”, and that is granted to them by our CREATOR, WHO CHOSE us in HIM before the foundation of the world (Ephesians 1:4)!!!

To totally grasp the BLESSING that we have been given “EARS TO HEAR” needs to be fully acknowledged and understood by we who have been CHOSEN!  Not being able to have THE SPIRIT communicate with a body is something that is too often overlooked or ignored by the BLESSED.  We must have a remembrance of where we were BROUGHT from and the PRICE our SALVATION cost our REDEEMER!  Others are unable to SEE, as their eyes have yet to be OPENED!!!

PAYING ATTENTION to what is being said to us by THE SPIRIT is paramount to each BELIEVER!  If we are more interested in hearing from “this world” than what THE SPIRIT OF GOD is preparing our hearts for, doubt and confusion could be directly ahead in our lives.  We have “EARS TO HEAR” and we need to BLOCK the enemy!  Our “EARS TO HEAR” needs to be focused on HEARING from ABOVE….. and nothing else!!!
