“LET HIM HEAR!”

 Matthew 13:9                 (ESV)

“He who has ears, “LET HIM HEAR.”

 Have you ever heard of an account of someone hearing a lecture and they weren’t affected by the words that they heard?  It was as if they didn’t hear the same thing from the teacher that others and the impact of the teacher was seemingly “null and void”?!?

JESUS had just been TEACHING people who were coming out to SUPPOSEDLY hear his MESSAGE?  HE went into a boat and delivered the WORD, but NOT EVERYONE who was listening TRULY heard what was being said.  It was as if they COULD NOT HEAR the words that JESUS was speaking???

It is becoming CRYSTAL CLEAR to me that I CANNOT move through a day without HEARING from my CREATOR!  It is CLEAR to me that I am IN NEED OF A SAVIOR and my dependence upon HIM is becoming more and more evident.  Most days, I have a NEED to “get my fix” from JESUS, and I think that is what HE is saying that we need to do……DEPEND ON HIM!!!

The MOST IMPORTANT thing for this “brain damaged” person is to BE CHANGED by HIS WORDS!  The song ringing in my mind is “I’m so tired of being stirred, but not being changed”!!!  I need to TRULY HEAR THE MESSAGE that HE is delivering to me!  “LET HIM HEAR” what HE IS SAYING TO ME!!!
