“HE WHO WALKS IN WISDOM!”

 Proverbs 28:26                    (ESV)

“Whoever trusts in his own mind is a fool, but “HE WHO WALKS IN WISDOM” will be delivered.”

This verse of Scripture has been highlighted in my BIBLE for quite some time.  But most of my life I have “hit the ground running”, trying to “get ahead of the crowd”!  Only since I have slowed my life down and listened to what GOD has for me to HEAR has HE been able to CONTROL what HE has for me to absorb!  Even the recovery time following the Brain Hemorrhage in 2007, I was trying to get back to where I was beforehand.  

“HE WHO WALKS IN WISDOM” is most likely the person who WAITS ON THE LORD (Psalms 27:14)!  Depending on “his own mind” strongly suggests that the person “is a fool”!  Our minds are a dangerous place to be, something that I should have learned MANY YEARS AGO!  

But “HE WHO WALKS IN WISDOM” is someone who wakes up and approaches THE LORD and asks WHAT DO YOU HAVE FOR ME TODAY???  GOD IS NOT TRYING TO GET US TO FINISH THE RACE FIRST!!!  In 1 Kings 19:11-13 (KJV) Scripture records how GOD had to DRAMATICALLY SLOW DOWN Elijah before HE would speak to him in A STILL SMALL VOICE!!!Getting me to DRAMATICALLY SLOW DOWN might be as huge of a challenge, but HE has proven that HE CAN DO ANYTHING!!!  

FATHER IN HEAVEN, DIVINELY cause me to DRAMATICALLY SLOW DOWN and become “HE WHO WALKS IN WISDOM”!!!
