“IT IS FOOLISHNESS TO HIM!”

 ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭2‬:‭10‬-‭16‬ ‭                (HCSB‬‬)

“Now GOD has revealed these things to us BY THE SPIRIT, for THE SPIRIT searches EVERYTHING, EVEN THE DEPTHS OF GOD. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man that is in him? In the same way, NO ONE KNOWS THE THOUGHTS OF GOD EXCEPT THE SPIRIT OF GOD. Now we HAVE NOT received the spirit of the world, but THE SPIRIT WHO comes from GOD, so that WE MAY UNDERSTAND WHAT HAS BEEN FREELY GIVEN TO US BY GOD. We also speak these things, NOT IN WORDS TAUGHT BY HUMAN WISDOM, but in those TAUGHT BY THE SPIRIT, explaining spiritual things to spiritual people. But the unbeliever does NOT welcome what comes from GOD’S SPIRIT, BECAUSE “IT IS FOOLISHNESS TO HIM”; he is not able to understand it since it is evaluated spiritually. The spiritual person, however, CAN EVALUATE EVERYTHING, yet he himself CANNOT be evaluated by ANYONE. For who has KNOWN the LORD’S MIND, that HE may instruct HIM? But we have the MIND of CHRIST.”

The TRUTH of Scripture can ONLY BE SEEN by those who are CHOSEN by ALMIGHTY GOD, and NO ONE ELSE!!  “This world” entices with only the “things” of it’s own environment, and that is because they don’t have the SPIRIT to discern TRUTH, because it is from GOD!

BELIEVERS aren’t better than those who haven’t been CHOSEN, it is just that “this world” CANNOT understood THE TRUTH!!!  It just doesn’t make sense to them.  Their EYES have yet to be OPENED, as they are BLINDED by the SUPPOSED beauty of the current world.  

“This world” seems to have their vision focused on what they can attain through their efforts and knowledge, but that will one day be burned up (2 Peter 3:10)!  Could it be that this humble servant doesn’t do an adequate job of showing THE PROMISES OF GOD?  If they are CHOSEN, then they WILL have their EYES OPENED and declare TRUTH to the HIS CHOSEN!

What “this world” exhibits in its most “beautiful” light is all of the glitz and glamour of today, but he CANNOT SEE TRUTH, for “IT IS FOOLISHNESS TO HIM”!  Make SURE that you are chasing THE TRUTH and are not being deceived the enemy of “this world”!!!
