“KNOW THAT I AM GOD!”

“Be still, and know that I am GOD. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”

“Let go [of your concerns]! Then you will know that I am GOD. I rule the nations. I rule the earth.”

Seemingly everybody has a solution to the social, racial, economic, and cultural problems that are besetting our nation and the world!  There is too much this, not enough of that, we need to throw more money at it, or stop throwing cash in a hole!  

Colossians 3:2 instructs us to “SET YOUR MINDS ON THINGS THAT ARE ABOVE, NOT ON THINGS THAT ARE ON EARTH”!  Could the problem POSSIBLY be that mankind has neglected Psalms 46:10 and is trying to be god in place of Worshipping and Adoring THE ONE TRUE GOD?  Trying every solution that can be imagined has gotten us so far into debt, divided into whatever polarity you choose, with no proven solution in sight.  When will someone, anyone, SEE that OUR CREATOR IS OUR ONLY HOPE???

The first thing we need to do is to BE STILL, CEASE STRIVING, LET GO (of your concerns)!  Mankind does NOT have all the answers to the world’s problems, regardless of his good intentions.  Proverbs 14:12 states that “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death”!  Unless we seek DIVINE intervention m we are headed to SPIRITUAL DEATH!  

The very next thing needed is to recognize, admit, even celebrate the fact that we can “KNOW THAT I AM GOD”!  THE ANSWER to ALL the problems that face mankind is JESUS.  We cannot improve on the FINISHED WORK OF CHRIST.  When our EYES are opened and we SEE that our only HOPE IS JESUS, only then can we “KNOW THAT I AM GOD”!!!

And finally, I WILL BE EXALTED is about “KNOW THAT I AM GOD” is EXALTED, not us!  Most all of us are going to be HUMBLED at THE GREAT WHITE THRONE OF JUDGEMENT!  When our EYES are finally OPENED and we SEE how GREAT JESUS is, and how insignificant we are, HIS MAJESTIC GLORY will be overwhelming and we will put in our place!  Kings, Rulers, Presidents, ALL will bow before HIM and “KNOW THAT I AM GOD”!!!
