Mark 3: 1-2

Mark 3: 1-2

"Again he entered the synagogue, and a man was there with a withered hand.  And they watched Jesus, to see whether he would heal him on the Sabbath, so that they might accuse him."

From time to time I have to be reminded that an Almighty GOD does not do things by chance or circumstance.   JESUS does not "happen" upon people who needed healing or miracles performed in their lives.   GOD puts certain people in our lives to make us who we need to become.

JESUS did not just happen upon the man with the withered hand.  This man was here for a purpose.  In verse 3, JESUS in angered by the Pharisees and their "hardness of heart".  All they were consumed with was their OWN desires to keep what power and wealth they had and to eliminate the threat to their status.

We need to be careful NOT to be so caught up in what we think is best.  Isaiah 55:8-9 reminds us that our feeble ways are not HIS ways.  HIS plan doesn't always line up with my plans.  I need to trust in HIM and pray that I become more like HIM.
