“THE WORD OF GOD!”

 Hebrews 4:11-13                     (KJV)

“11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

12 For “THE WORD OF GOD” IS QUICKi and POWERFUL, and SHARPER than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of Soul and Spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in HIS sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of HIM with whom we have to do.”

In a study of Hebrews 4:12, the following script was written by one author regarding Hebrews 4:12:

“The word QUICK means to be ALIVE or to IMPART LIFE. It is the opposite of lifeless, for the WORD of GOD is ALIVE, LIVING, and REAL, unlike the average book that oftentimes contains information that becomes obsolete and/or outdated. In contrast, our GOD’s WORD is LIVING and becomes more renewed and concise in the hearts of our own understanding.”

In John 14:6 Scripture records “JESUS said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and THE LIFE. NO ONE comes to the FATHER except through ME.”  

FAR too often I find myself searching for LIFE, or to satisfy in LIFE, from the things of “this world”?  You would think that I would have LEARNED by now that LIFE, and the satisfaction from LIFE, can ONLY be experienced from “THE WORD OF GOD”???
