“ALL!”

 Isaiah 64:6                         (ESV)

“But we are “ALL” as an unclean thing, and “ALL” our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we “ALL” do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.”

There are too many times that I feel that I am not as bad as others, especially people who murder, steal and destroy things that hurt others!  But this verse of scripture, Isaiah 64:6, paints a distinctly different picture of TRUTH!  

Our so-called RIGHTEOUSNESSES, the good we do here on earth, are as filthy rags when seen by a HOLY GOD, according to Scripture!  We “ALL” are in the same boat!  Without the GRACE of JESUS, NONE of us are “good enough” to stay out of hell!  The doctrine of DOUBLE IMPUTATION is our ONLY HOPE!  2 Corinthians 5:21 says “For our sake HE (GOD) made HIM (JESUS) to be sin WHO (JESUS) knew no sin, so that in HIM (JESUS) we might become the righteousness of GOD.”  

Isaiah IDENTIFIED us “ALL” as what we TRULY are, filthy rags!!!  But JESUS!!!!!  HE paid the ULTIMATE SACRIFICE for “ALL” of us CHOSEN to become SONS OF GOD!!!!
