“FOR ITS PURPOSE!”

 Proverbs 16:1-4                           (ESV)

    “[1] The plans of the heart belong to man,

        but the answer of the tongue is from the LORD. 

    [2] All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes,

        but THE LORD WEIGHS THE SPIRIT. 

    [3] Commit your work to the LORD,

        and your plans will be established. 

    [4] The LORD HAS MADE EVERYTHING “FOR ITS PURPOSE”,

        EVEN THE WICKED FOR THE DAY OF TROUBLE.”

Scholars point to King Solomon as the author of Proverbs in the Bible. The wisdom of King Solomon was greater than any man (1 Kings 4), yet he had difficulties to overcome, just like the rest of us!  

WISDOM IS FROM GOD (1 Corinthians 1:18-25).  When we seek TRUTH OUTSIDE OF CHRIST and HIS WORD, the efforts are in vain, for HE said in John 14:6 “I am the way, and THE TRUTH, and the life. No one comes to the FATHER except through me.”  HE IS TRUTH!  

THE ANSWER to ALL OF OUR PROBLEMS, QUESTIONS, and TROUBLES is JESUS.  HE made EVERYTHING “FOR ITS PURPOSE”, HIS PURPOSE, not what “we think” it was created for.  EVEN THE WICKED FOR THE DAY OF TROUBLE Scripture says!  When we have difficulties that we are presented with, know that it has been visited upon us “FOR ITS PURPOSE”!!!
