WORDS!!
Words are an expression of a point
we are trying to convey. Sometimes I do not express myself as well as I would like, so I have to use a dictionary. Below I have used a dictionary from http://av1611.com/kjbp/kjv-dictionary/kjv-dictionary-index.html. I wanted to get a biblical look into words that I use. The initial description is from me, MY DESCRIPTION! The follow up is copied/pasted from the KJV Dictionary.
Convict - to prove someone's guilt
1. To determine the truth of a charge against one; to prove or find guilty of a crime charged; to determine or decide to be guilty, as by the verdict of a jury, by confession, or other legal decision. The jury convicted the prisoner of felony.
Sin-violation of GOD's law.
1. The voluntary departure of a moral agent from a known rule of rectitude or duty, prescribed by God; any voluntary transgression of the divine law, or violation of a divine command; a wicked act; iniquity.
Mercy-receiving that which we DON'T deserve.
1. MER'CIFUL, a. from mercy. Having or exercising mercy; compassionate; tender; disposed to pity offenders and to forgive their offenses; unwilling to punish for injuries; applied appropriately to the Supreme being.
Grace-GOD's Riches At Christ's Expense-Unmerited Favor
1. Favor; good will; kindness; disposition to oblige another; as a grant made as an act of grace.
Forgiveness. - to let someone go free even though they are guilty.
1. FORGIV'EN, pp. Pardoned remitted.
Restoration-to make like it was
1. The act of replacing in a former state.
Redemption-The act of forgiveness
1. Repurchase of captured goods or prisoners; the act of procuring the deliverance of persons or things from the possession and power of captors by the payment of an equivalent; ransom; release; as the redemption of
LOVE--GOD
1.God is love. 1 John 4:16-19
WORDS....cannot describe the love of GOD!!
