“CHRIST DIED FOR US!”

Romans 5:7-9                                 (ESV)

“7 For one will scarcely die for a righteous person-though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die-

8 but GOD shows HIS love for us in that while we were still sinners, “CHRIST DIED FOR (ALL OF) US.

9 Since, therefore, we have now been justified by HIS blood, much more shall we be saved by HIM from the wrath of GOD.”

So many people have the misconception that JESUS didn’t suffer and die for ALL mankind, only a select few!  John 3:16 says “"For GOD so loved the world, that HE gave his only SON, that whoever believes in HIM should not perish but have eternal life.”  According to the thesaurus the Word “whoever” indicates that “nobody” is its antonym (opposite).  So that means that JESUS died for anybody who ever lived!!

In the opinion of a lot of Bible Scholars, the Apostle Paul is the most devout Believer that ever lived.   Other than JESUS CHRIST, he exhibited the traits that many feel we should strive to follow.   But he wrote in 1 Timothy 1:15 “The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that CHRIST JESUS came into the world to save sinners, OF WHOM I AM THE FOREMOST”!  Humans could NEVER live HOLY enough to enter into Heaven, so GOD offered HIS only SON as a redemptive offering BECAUSE HE LOVED US!!!

So don’t let the enemy blind you to the TRUTH!  You can’t be “so bad” that you are beyond GOD’s Grace!  The aforementioned Apostle Paul (while he was still Saul) persecuted the church to the point of standing by while Stephen was stoned to death!  Yet GOD transformed his life for HIS Glory to change the lives of multitudes!  

Yes, “CHRIST DIED FOR US” because we are ALL sinners in need of a Savior!!!   Don’t underestimate the price JESUS paid because the enemy spews his deceit.  Claim HIS Power today!  “CHRIST DIED FOR US”!!!
