“NO TRUTH!”

Genesis 3:1                                      (ESV)

“Now the serpent was more crafty (beguiling ,shrewd, cunning, subtil, sneakier, clever) than any other beast of the field that the LORD GOD had made. He said to the woman, “Did GOD actually say, ‘You shall not eat of any tree in the garden’?”

John 8:42-45                                  (ESV)

“42 JESUS said to them, "If GOD were your FATHER, you would love ME, for I came from GOD and I am here. I CAME NOT OF MY OWN ACCORD, BUT HE SENT ME.

43 Why do you not understand what I say? It is because YOU CANNOT BEAR TO HEAR MY WORD.

44 You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is “NO TRUTH” IN HIM. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for HE IS A LIAR AND THE FATHER OF LIES.

45 But because I tell THE TRUTH, you do not believe ME.”

THE TRUTH is something that is IMPOSSIBLE for those who are of “this world” to understand.  The people JESUS is addressing in John 8:42-45 were “scribes and Pharisees”, in other words, elitist temple hierarchy!  They had an earthly knowledge of Scripture, but they had never been “transformed” by the SPIRIT OF GOD!  In my limited studies of Scripture, JESUS was very gracious to “the sinners” HE encountered, but those who thought of themselves TOO HIGHLY were often not given very much latitude.  

In Genesis 3:1 the devil is described as “more crafty” THAN ANY OTHER BEAST of the field that the LORD GOD had made!  He uses deceit to trick people into thinking that THEY ARE RIGHT, and they don’t even know that they are deceived!  The sad thing about their viewpoint is there is “NO TRUTH” in what they have to offer.  They can become so comfortable with “NO TRUTH” that they often lash out with “NO TRUTH” in defense of the enemy’s lies!   JESUS even let them crucify HIM (John 19:11) with the HEAVENLY FATHER’s guidance.  HE created the very people who drove the nails and pierced HIS side......and most people still cannot SEE this!  

Those who are familiar with iScripture are not shocked or surprised by the current events in our world.  THE TRUTH came into this world and the world rejected HIM (John 1:10-11)!  Now we who are chosen by GOD have PEACE, but those who are of “this world” are left with “NO TRUTH” and no peace!  Eternity without JESUS will be chaos forever, with NO HOPE, NO PEACE, and “NO TRUTH”!!!
