1 Peter 5:2-5
"Shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you; not for shameful gain, but eagerly; not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock. And when the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory."
A true SHEPHERD is one who is willing to lay down his life for his flock. LOVE was the determining force behind our Shepherd giving HIS life for us. LOVE has to be the force that motivates us to live our lives for HIM!
LORD, let my life be an exhibit of YOUR love for mankind! I pray that I will my love will be so REAL that it cannot be mistaken for anything else!
