Isaiah 64:6 (KJV)
“But “WE ARE ALL” as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.”
For this humble servant, one of the most appreciated human writers of Old Testament Scripture is Isaiah, an 8th-century BC prophet. The latter chapters of Isaiah articulates very well the MAJESTY of THE LORD, but also how “undone” (Isaiah 6:5) is compared to GOD!
Isaiah didn’t mince words! He says “WE ARE ALL” pathetically inept when compared to a HOLY GOD! We can say that we are as good as any human who has ever been created, but “WE ARE ALL” not worthy of being mentioned in the same conversation as GOD ALMIGHTY! “WE ARE ALL” in need of a SAVIOR and I am SO grateful HE paid the price for my SALVATION!!!
