“NO ONE!”

 John 6:41-44                        (ESV)

“[41] So THE JEWS GRUMBLED ABOUT HIM, because HE said, “I am the bread that came down from heaven.” [42] They said, “Is not this JESUS, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How does he now say, ‘I have come down from heaven’?” [43] JESUS answered them, “Do not grumble among yourselves. [44] “NO ONE” CAN COME TO ME UNLESS THE FATHER WHO SENT ME DRAWS HIM. And I will raise him up on the last day.”

Having a grandchild with us for a few days requires me to follow a different schedule than usual.  Today’s writings will be abbreviated, but prayerfully will CHANGE others as HIS WORD has changed me???

“NO ONE” isn’t very cryptic or difficult to understand!  “NO ONE” means “NO ONE”, not a few, not those who live right, or do what THEY THINK is the best way of getting to Heaven!  1 Peter 2:9 says “But you are a CHOSEN race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for HIS own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of HIM WHO called you out of darkness into HIS marvelous light.”  Ephesians 1:4 tells us “Even as HE CHOSE us in HIM BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD, that we should be holy and blameless before HIM.”

We that Believe are only Believers because we are CHOSEN by HIM!  “NO ONE” else has the ability to dream up entrance into HIS PRESENCE!  “NO ONE” doesn’t mean anything besides “NO ONE”!  Because HE CHOSE us in HIM BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD we are permitted to SERVE HIM eternally!!!  “NO ONE” else is permitted, “NO ONE”!!!
