"Ahh! NOW I SEE!"

Matthew 13:10-17 (KJV) "10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? 11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is NOT GIVEN. 12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. 13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing SEE NOT; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. 14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall SEE, and shall not perceive: 15 For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their EYES they have closed; lest at any time they should SEE with their EYES, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their HEART, and should be converted, and I should heal them. 16 But blessed are your EYES, for they see: and your EARS, for they hear. 17 For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to SEE those things which ye SEE, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them." Imagine, if you will, Pharaoh of Egypt chasing the children of Israel into the Red Sea with no biblical record of the facts, only Modern Day reporters. The children of Israel would have been "visiting" Egypt for 400 years and were "talked into" trying to make it to The Promised Land. They were given plenty of food and water and their ability to survive was never in question. They visited many "neighbors" on the way. The Amalekites, people of Jericho, people of Ai, the Gibeonites, the Amorites, everybody they went to visit was so nice and accommodating to them! But the Israelis turned on their "friends" and slaughtered some of them. The Israelis were so powerful and mean spirited that they took no prisoners. The Israelis were VERY "lucky" in that many "strange" happenings benefitted them, AND STILL DO TO THIS DAY!! People only report what they "SEE", or understand to be. The view of every person, whether they are a "reporter" or not, is only through the "prism" through which they observe. The Word of GOD is not a bad "PRISM" to view life through. When people try to lead with a vision skewed by a "prism" other than The Word of GOD, the results can be frightening! The day of judgement is fast approaching for my reporting. How will the story I am reporting be judged by my audience? We will all stand before a HOLY GOD soon! The "prism" we used will be judged too! I am so thankful the "prism" I choose to see through is "the Lamb of GOD who taketh away the sins of the world"! What "prism" are you viewing through???
