"SPIRIT OF TRUTH vs.SPIRIT OF ERROR"

1 John 4:4-6      (KJV)
"4 Ye are of GOD, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in YOU, than he that is in the world.
5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
6 We are of GOD: he that knoweth GOD heareth us; he that is not of GOD heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of "error."

Recently there was a post on Facebook that read something similar to criminal's prefer unarmed victims, and a certain political party preferred uninformed voters.  This post is not in support of ANY party!  It is meant to be a "WAKE-UP ALARM" to a world that is so busy fighting each other, that we have lost sight of WHO the enemy really is!  Republicans or Democrats, it makes no difference, "WE THE PEOPLE" should be on the same team.  

The Apostle Paul wrote to the Christians in Ephesus "For we wrestle NOT against FLESH and BLOOD, but AGAINST principalities, AGAINST powers, AGAINST the rulers of the "darkness" of this world, AGAINST spiritual wickedness in high places." (Ephesians 6:12).

The enemy loves to hide in "DARKNESS"!  Contrary, JESUS IS LIGHT, as HE proclaimed in John 9:5.  If the enemy can keep our focus, our energies, on the evil being done by his minions rather than the positive, good things of Christ, we will live in defeat.  That is the reason why Philippians 4:8 is such a vital verse in our lives, "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, THINK ON THESE THINGS."

I served on a local school board for 9 years.  Education can be a great aid to people.  But learning the difference between the Spirit of Truth and spirit of "error" is a gift that books cannot teach!  BIBLICAL KNOWLEDGE is a much greater asset.  JESUS said in Matthew 11:25 "I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the WISE and PRUDENT, and hast REVEALED them unto BABES."

One can have all of the degrees that colleges and universities can offer.   But BIBLICAL KNOWLEDGE has to be revealed from above!   I humbly pray, FATHER, that I will be a BABE used by YOU to glorify YOUR KINGDOM!
