"EYES and EARS!"

Mark 8:17-19 (KJV) "17 And when Jesus knew it, he saith unto them, Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? perceive ye not yet, neither understand? have ye your heart yet hardened? 18 Having EYES, SEE ye not? and having EARS, HEAR ye not? and do ye not remember? 19 When I brake the five loaves among five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? They say unto him, Twelve." Having a rib out of its proper position extremely painful. At times it seems as though you can't get situated to not be hurting! No matter what you do, the misery continuously grinds on you. You have to KNOW what you are looking for to be able to see it. But once you have experienced the relief from the pain, you remember how to "see" it. From time to time your eyes have to be "Opened" to see thing's in life as well. JESUS inquired of HIS disciples if they remembered the feeding of the five thousand? Sure they did! Well if JESUS could manage to feed 5,000 people with nothing more than a boys sack lunch, surely HE could take care of HIS disciples? Just as my "eyes" had to be opened to know that my rib was misplaced, our "eyes" and "ears" must be sensitive to the Holy Spirit in our lives. Similar to a misplaced rib, you can save yourself a lot of PAIN if you follow GOD's guidance for your life. HE can provide our needs and SO much more. We may even gather TWELVE BASKETS of leftovers when it's over!! I pray that my "eyes" and "ears" are listening for HIS direction in my life!
