GOD'S WORD!"

Romans 10:1-3 (KJV) "1 Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. 2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. 3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God." I was asked recently by a friend "Where have we gone as a nation, that the government thinks they can control our Worship"? My response was "Some people have no HEART knowledge of GOD's Word, therefore their actions are not guided by principles that are in tune with HIS principles". Now I was half awake when I wrote the response, so the response was undoubtably directed by a higher being. This scripture passage REVEALS an important principle, that in the pace we allow ourselves to live in, tends to be ignored. Taking a view of this from "back to front", some have not ever "submitted themselves unto the righteousness of GOD", therefore they have "establish(ed) their own righteousness". When their principles are exposed to "God’s righteousness", they are revealed to be "ignorant"! I am not judging, rather allowing GOD's Word to be applied. Hebrews 4:12 tells us "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." Galatians 6:7 tells us that GOD WILL NOT BE MOCKED! The more you read the bible.......The more you'll love its AUTHOR!
