"And Moses said to the people, "Fear not, STAND FIRM, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will work for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall never see again. The LORD will fight for you, and you have only to be silent."
Some days seem tougher than others. You wake up and you are just in a "FOG" and you don't want to even try to do anything! I think GOD knew our weaknesses and HE is ready for them! In Exodus 14:13 HE commands us to "STAND FIRM"! HE is not asking us to fight or win a battle, rather to STAND FIRM!
In verses 15 through 18 of the same chapter, GOD instructs the Israeli's to cross the Red Sea. From all appearances, it looked like HE was telling them to RUN from their enemy! Verse 17 says HE will harden the hearts of the Egyptians and get "GLORY" over them! As history tells us, the Egyptians were drowned in the Red Sea. The enemy that was "breathing down the neck" of the Israeli's were now no more. Verse 31 says the Israelites "feared" and "believed".
Whether you are just feeling blah or the enemy really has got you against the Red Sea, GOD is saying "STAND FIRM" and let HIM be GOD!
